As Chief Executive Officer, Darren Hawkins leads Yellow Corporation, a $5.1 billion North American trucking company that operates the nation’s second-largest less-than-truckload network. Yellow has more than 300 terminals coast-to-coast and its team of 30,000 freight professionals transport more than 17 million shipments annually for North America’s smallest and largest businesses. Yellow is America’s fifth-largest trucking company, also operating Yellow Logistics, a third-party logistics brokerage that offers a wide portfolio of transportation services and is working to bring trucks and technology together.
Since becoming CEO in 2018, Hawkins has led the Yellow team in making its most significant investments ever to build on its 100 years of service to North American supply chain customers. Yellow recently onboarded the largest number of new trucks in its history with advanced safety and emissions reduction technologies, while simultaneously opening 16 new Driving Academies developing a pipeline for the next generation of truck drivers. Hawkins has also overseen the company’s transformation into a super-regional carrier that will offer enhanced services, LTL network resilience and in-cycle reliability.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Hawkins brings extensive expertise in both operations and sales. He is a results-driven leader, a clear and motivating communicator, and a trusted and empowering manager. Hawkins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and supply chain management from the University of Memphis. He is currently vice chair of the American Trucking Associations and serves as a Board member of the American Transportation Research Institute.
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Darrel Harris is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Yellow Corporation, one of the nation’s largest less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers. Harris leads a team of 30,000 freight professionals at more than 300 terminal locations, transporting over 14 million shipments annually for a diverse customer base that includes retail, manufacturing, and large and small businesses throughout North America. Harris also heads the company’s One Yellow enterprise transformation initiative, creating a modern, super-regional LTL network designed to improve operational efficiencies that enhance customer service, increase productivity and strengthen financial results.
Harris has more than 27 years of extensive LTL industry experience. He began his career as a dock worker for a large national LTL carrier, where he spent nearly two decades in various leadership roles of increasing responsibility in both operations and sales. Harris currently serves on the Board of Directors for SMC3, a leading provider of LTL technology solutions.
As CFO of Yellow Corporation, Dan Olivier is responsible for corporate finance, treasury, cash management, accounting, tax and risk management/internal audit. He brings to the role expertise in operational finance and strategy.
Olivier has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Trinity Christian College and began his career in public accounting. He has worked the past 22 years at Yellow Corporation, which has the largest, most comprehensive network in North America with local, regional, national and international capabilities and across its successful brands: Holland, New Penn, Reddaway, YRC Freight and HNRY Logistics. Over the past two decades, Olivier has advanced through various accounting and finance roles at Yellow Corporation, most recently having served as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis for Yellow Corporation, and prior to that, Vice President, Finance for Holland.
Leah K. Dawson serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Yellow Corporation, a $4.9 billion transportation company and its portfolio of industry-leading less-than-truckload (LTL) companies including Holland, New Penn, Reddaway, YRC Freight and Yellow Logistics. Also, Dawson is Corporate Secretary to the Yellow Corporation Board of Directors.
Prior to being named General Counsel, Dawson served as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Yellow Corporation since 2012. During her tenure, she has advised on and overseen vital aspects of Yellow Corporation’s legal strategy in areas such as corporate, securities, finance, governance, executive compensation, employee benefits, tax and real estate and has been an integral part of many pivotal company transactions. In 2020, Dawson was instrumental in helping Yellow Corporation secure its $700 million CARES Act loan.
An experienced attorney, Dawson previously worked at the Kansas City offices of two top international law firms, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP and Dentons LLP, where she provided counsel focusing on corporate, securities and finance law.
Dawson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Spanish Concentration from The University of Kansas. She graduated from The University of Kansas School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree and Tax Certificate.
As Chief Information Officer of Yellow Corporation, Annlea Rumfola oversees all information technology teams, systems, processes and support functions for one of the largest, most comprehensive trucking networks in North America.
Rumfola joined Yellow in January 2023, bringing an extensive background in technology leadership from Cardinal Health Inc., where she most recently served as senior vice president of information technology for the health care company’s medical segment. Her 30-year career at Cardinal Health included numerous leadership positions with increasing responsibilities on the tech side. Over the years, she has provided support for Cardinal Health businesses units that include Pharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical Distribution, Nuclear Pharmacy Services, and Enterprise Customer and Sales functions.
Rumfola earned her bachelor’s degree in productions and operations management science from State University of New York at Geneseo. She holds an MBA from Ashland University.
